Fun with Pictures and Picnik.com

If you take pictures, and we all do, having the ability to do some editing to those pictures is something that most people would like but it can be intimidating. Programs like photoshop or something similar have an extensive learning curve and I don’t know about you but I don’t have time for learning curves on everything in life. Some things, yes, all things, no. This is where PicNik.com comes in.

Their free option allows you to do all sorts of fun things to your photos such as adding text and graphics. It will even let you change your picture from color to black and white or use the sepia option for something different.

There is also a premium option that runs about $25 a year. It offers more in the way of fonts, holiday decor and the ability to change your eye color, lip color, add a tan, all kinds of things. These all happen with true one button use.

I like to take pictures and most people who know me know that. I didn’t even discover picnik.com until last fall and it’s been a great tool and resource for me to enhance my photos.

Give it a try…the free option offers a lot and it’s fun.

Until next time…

Neato! I downloaded GIMP the other day so I could get back in to graphics and tags. I used Paint Shop Pro back in the day, tried Adobe Photoshop and got so frustrated I immediately took it off my pc. This is a neat website that I don’t have to install, thats great!
