Don’t throw those calendars away!

On the subject of saving “garbage”….

I was going around the house today gathering up the old 2010 calendars to throw away but then something occurred to me. I could use these in projects I can think of. The photos on calendars are usually pretty nice so they can be used for something, right? I have an idea for a project already so we’ll see how it turns out.

Do you save your old calendars? What do you use them for?

Great idea! I have made some things with these before.

I usually want to. šŸ™‚ I force myself sometimes because they are really pretty.

A few crafts to create out of old calendars sounds like a wonderful idea! šŸ™‚

I’ve kept them in the past. If you’re a parent with school-age children, the pictures can be used for at-home projects or sent into school for projects the children do in class. I remember using photos from old ones back when I was a child….oh, so many years ago.

  4. I save them and the kids use them for projects for school. Without fail one of the 5 of them get a project that requires cutting out photos of nouns, or finding photos to accompany an essay.

The exception is the horse calendar. My daughter grabs those before I can and plasters her walls with the photos! šŸ™‚
